October is the definitely the most eventful month of 2009.
We shot a total of 10 weddings and at the same time was called up for a 26-day ICT.
But what was kept low profile was the Master Photographers Association (MPA) grading that I went for. Established in 1952, the Master Photographers Association is the United Kingdom’s only organization for full time, qualified and professional photographers, all of whom are bound by the association’s Code of Conduct.
For the entire month of October, we went through countless of sleepless nights and mental torment preparing for the grading.
It’s all over. I was awarded, Licentiate with the MPA last Thursday. Yes I’m a Master Photographer now along with many other great photographers all over the world. There are so many people I need to thank for my success.
First and foremost, Jean, she is always the one giving me all the support and she is the main reason behind my success. Ryan Wong, for the late nights at West Coast MacDonald’s mentoring, going through all my work and selecting my final panel of 20 images. I want to thank my parents for believing that this is not just a “hobby” job, it is my career. Thank you to Peng Eik and Gilbert Chua, what I am today is because I have good mentors like both of you. Thanks to the guys at Nikon (Jeffery, Sherina, Bryan, Max & Rubi) for their moral and technical support. Finally I wish to thank the rest of the many people, my friends, clients and fans.
I wish to apologize as well…that some schedules are not met, emails replied late and delay in meet ups. We’ll try our best to catch up on the schedules. Thank you for being patient with us. We will work harder to produce more stunning images.
From the heart,
Bryan Kit F.

Dear friends, It is with upmost regret to imform you that “We will no longer be able to provide you with the service of producing montages or slideshows as of immediate effect!”
This being the reason that in recent times, Various agencies in Singapore have been sending their menions around to “catch” illegal broadcast of slide shows. The sensitivity of it is the same as : If we sat down at a mac Donalds’ and i played a slideshow for your viewing on my laptop, it is a breach of broadcast rights as well as a breach in copyrights for the music AND the mechnical reproduction of the music in the slideshow.
We are trying our best to work on the issue now and hope work something out with these agencies. Otherwise, we may never be able to share our beautiful work with you guys via a means of a gorgeous slide show again.
We apologies for the disappointment. And we will try our very very best to work something out as soon as possible.

It has been an extremely eventful week. We’re very happy and excited about my achievements in the recent AGWPJA Quarter 2 Contest. Having won the 2nd and 17th position in the Ring Details category , I’ve managed to improve my overall standing from 12th to 11th. Congratulations to the other Singapore photographers, Stephen Loh, Kelvin Koh, Jose Pang and Derrick Ong who were placed alongside in the top 30.
Congratulations as well to my studio mates, Tsen Ho for winning 17th position in the Kids Being Kids category and Chris Woon for winning 20th position in the Reception Category.
Here are my prized images.
2nd Position

17th Position

Earlier this week, I was featured in TODAY newspaper for Nikon’s D5000 DSLR review. We brought the camera over to Paris last month. It was definitely a good experience. Attended 2 workshops yesterday. I got to meet one of the world’s best wedding photographer, Jerry Chionis, at his workshop held in Marina Mandarin Hotel. I got to learn some new techniques as well as how to manage a photography business. Later in the day I got to meet the best wedding photographers of Singapore at WPN’s first ever wedding workshop too. It was a whole day of learning and deep frying of brain cells. It was one of the most inspiring day of the year. Knocked out the moment I got home.
All in all, I would like to thank everyone, family, fellow photographers, friends, clients and fans for the never ending support. We’ll look forward to producing more great images right from the bottom of our heart.
Love always,
Bryan & Jean
