I am pleased to share with everyone that I’ve been awarded overall 12th placing in the AGWPJA Q1 2009 Contest with 2 winning entries. I’m extremely excited with this result as this is the first time I took part in a photography contest.

Here are the 2 winning entries. At 4th placing in the Reception category,

Judges Comment: Very nice shot of the bride in the car. The expression on her face is great and the soft quality and tone of the image really help. Nice job.

And at 9th placing in the Ceremony category,

Judges Comment: Great light and the high contrast really helps here. The two girls are adorable and this is yet another really nice image. Well done.

Hey folks I’m sorry for failure to update my blog. It been pretty busy ever since we came back from Tioman. This month is a hot month for weddings so I’ll probably post up more photos after I’m not so tied up.

But most importantly for this blogpost is that WE HAVE MUSIC ON OUR WEBSITE!!! With many many thanks to Jack and Rai, our very own local artiste. Their CD is out IN STORES NOW (pun intended). You can find out more about them on their website too http://www.jackandrai.com. Here are a couple of photos I shot of them at Lifehouse’s concert last year. They do sing at weddings too. We’ll be heading to Tioman Island later today to shoot 2 lovely couple’s pre-wedding. I’m sure they are as excited as me because we’ll be shooting underwater as well. Hello to the crystal clear turquoise water and rich marine life.
